I have been subbing in all the Waukee Schools. I am a newly retired teacher from southern Illinois. I can't say enough positive things about the Waukee School District. I am a student at this middle school. I am in the 6th grade and I think this school is great! I was nervous when I got here but now I am just fine. GO SPARTANS!!!
I love my school. I moved from there and I was very sad. I am going back and I am so happy. The teachers are so nice and so are the kids. I love wilson school.
Well, I went to Roosevelt Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd, half of 4th, & 5th grade. I knew all the staff & teachers in the school. I think that the teachers did a great job with teaching our generation because now i'm a jenior in high school & i really miss the school.
The teachers at Basics were wonderful the only problem I had with this school is you can come and go as you please that just made me miss a lot of work in my future careers and I don't have good work ethics because I had no rules at this school. It was a great alternative from the preppy stuck up high school it just needs more rules and attendance policies.
