My years at East High School back in the late 60's created wonderful memories that have been with me all through my adult life. There were a lot of good teachers, and we lived through an historical time of change and promise. I would like to reconnect with some of the students. Leora Day, are you out there anywhere? Remember when you and I starred in Thornton Wilder's "Our Town"? I remember the kiss and the grave scene. Dave Annett
I curently go to this school and im in the seventh grade i labsolutly love this school but its sad my favorite teacher Mrs.Lehman is gone!!
My son is in the first grade and his teacher seems to have a problem getting his planner, work etc back to him or sent home with him. He had to go back to CA for an emergency with my family and when he returned his teacher all she could say when asked for his missed home work well it was done in class and that he missed a lot and he will just have to catch up. My question is what kind of school will allow a teacher to react like this and behave like this to a student who she is constantly...
I am nearly 32 years old and a graduate of Westwood high school. Today is the Birthday of the favorite and most influential teacher I ever had. Most would only be lucky enough if a person had such a wonderful teacher. Many years ago she started teaching at the old school in Salix, and I was in her special developmental class...
