I attended Drake 1959 to 1960 and 1960 to 1961 (Freshman and Sophomore years). The first year I was housed on the second floor at Morehouse Dormitory; the second year on the second floor (corner) of Jewett. A lot has changed since I graduated way back in 1961. Not only in my life, but the world. I often think of certain things that I experience at East. Playing football, participating in track and basketball. The awesome A-choir and Swing Shows.
The tremendous coaches (Mr. Gazowski, Mr. Hanson, Mr. Weir, Mr. Doyle, Mr. Ketchum)...they all had a positive influence on me. I will always be so grateful to them. And, the wonderful teachers. But, probably what I miss most of all are the many...
I am a 1985 Palmer Graduate and have been in private practice for 24 years. My choice in 1981 was Palmer College of Chiropractic because there was no better. Currently, I still feel the same way and refer perspective students only to Palmer.

awesome school. if your passionate about doing hair check it out. very hands on and the instructors help you in class and with the hands on part. its nice that we are able to accept tips even as student. im so happy to see a client leave feeling fresh and new. ive always wanted to attend beauty school. graduation date expected next may so i have a ways to go!

My years at East High School back in the late 60's created wonderful memories that have been with me all through my adult life. There were a lot of good teachers, and we lived through an historical time of change and promise. I would like to reconnect with some of the students. Leora Day, are you out there anywhere? Remember when you and I starred in Thornton Wilder's "Our Town"? I remember the kiss and the grave scene. Dave Annett
