I WILL NEVER FORGET THE DAY THAT DON MASON GOT 3 WACKS FROM THE MAN TEACHER FOR BENDING A HAIR PIN INTO A FLIPPING DEVICE, WHICH WE WERE TOLD TO NOT DO THAT, AND OF COURSE DON DID, AND IT FLIPPED UPON THE TEACHERS DESK.THIS HAPPENED IN THE 6TH GRADE.I FELT SO SORRY FOR HIM THAT DAY, ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS?
great school. enjoyed all 4 years as a shamrock. nice teachers, and i learned alot.
I have never seen such concern for individual students as the teachers in this school. They really get to know each one of their students. Their likes, dislikes, individuality is encouraged and increasing love of learning. Would recommend this elementary school to anyone thinking of moving into Westfield or Carmel and attending Carey Ridge.
This small alternative high school saved my son from becoming a dropout statistic. The personal attention and extra effort from staff and administration made him feel like trying again. He's in college and excelling. Options is not for all students, but if you're frustrated with the big high school, I highly recommend it.
