I graduated from Pike High School in 1988. Overall I am very happy with the education that I received there. Certain department areas had strengths and others had weaknesses when I was there. Biology was very well taught. In fact, when I went to college I was far advanced on that subject compared to students who had come from other high schools. However, mathematics at Pike was weak. At that time a teacher who taught algebra openly admitted in front of our class that he actually was not...
This school is what all richmond school's should be.It is a credit to richmond and the teacher's care not like other richmond school's in this area.give us more star school's in this area less other school's.

I was a student at Franklin Community High School (FCHS) many years ago: the school is very different today. Franklin used to be a cozy, farm community and FCHS had a great Future Farmers of America (FFA) program. Over the years, Franklin has lost it's small town charm and FCHS is no longer popular for the FFA program. FCHS built a new gigantic beautiful school on the southern part of the city; however, the charm was lost along the way (not to mention my property taxes doubled.)Some children...
