I have the pleasure of volunteering at Ontarioville. I can't say enough about the staff and students - what great people! From the time I enter and go to the office, where the secretaries are warm and welcoming to entering the classroom. The teachers are top notch, very professional and caring. The students are polite and respectful. I hope the students are getting as much out of my volunteering as I am getting when I see how they are learning and growing. It's a privilege to volunteer...
1966-1972 for me (I'm 51 in 2013). I had Mrs Foreman as a kindergarten teacher. I was in love with her, what a wonderful person. Mrs Morley, my first grade teacher was a different story- very hard, mean. There was a little girl I remember trying to protect from her. I was ultimately held back a year. Mrs Murray, my 2nd 1st grade teacher was a richly talented African American woman who eventually started her own African Art Gallery. Wonderful person and teacher. And LOUD- you couldn't daydream...
