I disagree strongly, I believe that most of the students that go to Inlet Grove and have a problem with it, don't deal with challenge very well. Its like "Hello? you don't HAVE to go Inlet, it's a choice or a decision that you or your parents make. No one is forcing you or has forced you to stay there. If you don't like the way the school is running, DON'T COMPLAIN just LEAVE. Inlet has made alot of changes, yes I have to agree but if we as the students are striving for something that we really want, nothing can stop us from getting to where we want to go in life. I am a senior at Inlet now and of course I've had my opinion on the principal of my years before, but I have come to realize that it is only a test. I refuse to let any teacher, staff member, or principal stop me from getting to my goal. The principal there now is just preparing us for our future. No matter where you go in life, you are going to find alot of things that are unfair to you, but if you really want it you'll deal with it. If you find something else that works better for you, then good for you. Don't discourage other people from trying something new just because it didn't fit your decription. In my opinion, if you don't like dealing with a little challenge then don't go to inlet, it really isn't the place for you.

I have a student that went to this school for 4 years. We chose this school because it was THE place to go for web design. Well that was not the case after the 1st year when the new principal came into POWER. The computer labs only half work, the teacher(s) hired for that poistion were not quaified to teach begnning computers let alone web design.The students did not get support from principal in anyway. My student could not wait to get out and away from this school. There was one shinning moment in this school. The poly sc teacher was great but they have run him off as of this year. The idea of the school is great but Inlet has a long way to go before I would tell anyone to try it. They need to start at the top and change some things

Inlet Grove needs new leadership. The current principal in my opinion makes irrational disciplinary choices, and the screening process that used to make this school desirable, no longer exists, letting students in that have skipped 8th grade. The student body has grown to 700 students, and this facility does not accomodate that kind of a number. All the programs focus on FCAT scores, inlcluding the career magnets, and we still recieve only a C grade. My freshman year at this school, Michael Mergio was principal. I learned more from the classes I took during that year, than I ever have, and than my other three years at this school. I would not recommend this school unless it changes leadership, or direction.
