I have come to eat lunch with my child on many occasions, I notice that most of the focus is "being quiet", which is okay. The part that bothers me is the "WASTE OF FOOD". There is no emphasis on eating the food. Being a parent who struggles at times to provide adequate meals and at times has had to go to food banks to obtain food for my family due to hard times, I am saddened to see the food that is wasted by the majority of the students. With the kids only having 20 or so minutes to eat, I think they should be encourage to eat their food.
