First I'd like to begin by saying that the teachers & staff were always there for me when I needed help. During my time at Sleepy Hill I felt safe. Although in 7th grade I did have some things stolen & when I reported it, nothing was done. I was always welcome by the lunch administration. When I went to the library, I always found what I was searching for & if I didn't, there was always someone there to help. Through the 3 yrs that I attended Sleepy Hill, I had 2 principals & both of them were extremely nice to everyone I saw them with (parents, teachers, students, etc.). The sports facilities weren't the best - some were broken & some were missing pieces. The after school, during school, and extra cirricular programs that I went to were enjoyable to me. We always had something to do & as a matter of fact, I'm going to Girl Scouts at Sleepy Hill now. Classroom facilities were depending on the students actions & frankly, some made me want to turn around & never go back. I stopped riding the bus in 6th grade because the bus driver didn't do anything when other kids threw things at me. Parent/Teacher association wasn't done as much as it should have. I noticed that some teachers ignored parent/teacher requests. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Sleepy Hill but I would take more actions towards what happens there.
