In general I don't believe that interest in progressing and learning is developed at all. Many times I've ask my daugther to ask the teacher and her respond was that she was not allowed to ask her assigned teacher, but to put her hand up and the assistance would give her directions or told what to do. I believe that the teacher should have more interaction and promote the interest for children to want to learn more. My kid has expressed boredom at school. It is unacceptable to me that kids at 1st grade level are not taken outside for everyday activities that promote a more active lifestyle. Physical activities for kids allows them to burn some of their energy in a positive way as well as keep them motivated the rest of the day. My child has requested constantly her desire to return to her previos school even thou she has always related well to people no matter where she has gone. I am very disappointed in this school. And i hope to find the means to get her out of it.

Teachers at littlewood elementary
The teachers at littlewood elementary are excellent. As a student I know what I'm talking about. I am in the 5th grade and for the past 6 years the teachers have been very suportive and caring. Every time you need help they are there to help. Each and every teacher has a special conection with each student.I can't say enough about them. On my first day of kindergarten my parents and I knew that we would love this new school. The teachers get you totaly preped for the FCAT. When it is that time of the year to take it you go in feeling very confident and come out feeling even better. I love each and every one of the teachers,And I know you will too.
