Great memories of attending here, from my first grade teacher Mrs. Shaw and Miss Katzin and Mr. DePonceau to after school carnivals and seasonal activities. But then, that was 1959-1965. Hialeah was pretty much like Mayberry then. lol
I love Mrs.Eckhart,the principal and the staff are great. the communication is always there and availability of meeting with anyone is open. I appreciate the way teachers keep me inform of my children whether good or bad. This school is great wouldn't recommend another.
I HAVE TO SAY MOST OF MY TEACHERS WERE VERY GOOD TO ME. Though at times It might of seemed I wasn't paying attention. In general this school is good. eventhought the cafeteria is not great and dosnt have a very good variety of food, everything else is pretty good. there is a lot of violence thought and there isnt enough disipline. i think that i would reccomend this school thought because it has great teachers and a great principal.
They always get you ready for the FCAT. The location is very busy though. There is construction everywhere. The teachers are great, although there is one. Our principle is agreat leader and developed the great CHAMP'S system used by other schools now. The SpanishI class is phenominal! The teacher is the best and it counts for high school credit!
