Cost VS performance is s difficult measure for some educational institutions. Not so for schools with a purpose. NCDA is deisgn and operated with asingle purpose: To teach, train and support people with a driving passion for the "stage" performing arts. The appropriate measurement of performance for an acting school is how well the students do after they graduate. NCDA, by the most telling measure: the percentage of graduates that are able to find PAID acting jobs upon graduation, the school has performed beyond anyone's expectations and well beyond the competition.....any competition. There are a multitude of specific catagories on which to measure performance...NCDA meets or exceeds the field in each and everyone. And you don't need to take my word for it, make your own comparisions, if you can.

Educational Mission
The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts is a non-profit, accredited, post-secondary school for individuals who wish to train for professional careers in the performing arts. The Conservatory is dedicated to making the cost of the training fair and affordable for students. The school participates in Federal Title IV financial aid programs to assist those students for whom tuition assistance is needed in order for them to be able to train. What a terrific Acting school. Excellent faculty, excellent curriculum, accredited school in DC. recommended to all comers, less expensive than any comparable school, and great place to just hang out!

This is a very expensive acting school costing around 900 $us a month making it's cost comparable to that of many prestigious acting schools around the country (Stella Adler Academy in LA and NY). The cost is sadly the only aspect in which this school is comparable to those prestigious schools. The school is located in a dark and cold church basement and the quality of the teachers is uneven at best. It's best to spend the money elsewhere. There is a huge offer of acting classes in the area.
