My son has been at PCA for 4 years. We love the school, he has learned everything he needs, and more. I have seen a larger number of student- teacher ratio this year, and I have felt it has effected his understanding of a few subjects. I wish they had aids, or smaller classes like before. I know it stresses out the teachers, and the kids learn slower. But everthing else is great. I will be willing to help, but was never asked. More parent involvement would be helpful I guess

My daughter has attended PCA since kindergarten and the teachers seem to have great intentions towards educating our students.They show genuine concern for any issues a student might be having and are quick to suggest a solution. the PTO does their best but i wish more parents would get involved. The only issue i have is that i wish the lines of communication were better established between parents and teachers. We can't always depend our "angels" to bring home correct,if any information. also whoever revamped the transportation department should be commended.The previous staff was unprofessional, lacking in judgment and quite frankly extremely rude. but again kudos for the new staff. They have alot of things to organize.
Again the staff and volunteers at PCA are wonderful and if I may ,Donna Arvay and Tara Winters should be commended on their teaching skills. They both go above and beyond the duty and I am greatful my daughter began her education with them as teachers.

My daughter has just finished her first year at PCA. She loved her teacher,Jill Mears and has accomplished alot this year. She wanted to go to school and all the teachers really seemed interested in her and the kids in general. The school has a very family type, close feel to it. Parents are welcome and encouraged to be involved. I have been very pleased so far.

I have been pleased with all of my children's teachers. They really seem to care for the kids on a personal level and it shows. I feel that my girls are getting a great education, but please realize that as a charter school there is only so much funding available therefore if my children had "special needs" I might research all options. We love the school.
