This is a fabulous school. My trio attend this school and I am proud to call "South" our school. I can honestly say that this school truly cares about educating the next generation and their IB program supports that. I know of families (2 in particular) where their children attended a montessori school and then switched to South and this is the FIRST time their child came home from school and said "I love school!" When is Horizon Middle School going to fix their athletic track? It would be much better for the Cross Country team to practic on if it was maintained. All of the Cross Country meets are at other locations probably for this very reason I am guessing.

I am a graduate of December 2000. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend this school. I had just concluded my military service and enrolled in classes and found the admitions to be a fairly easy process. The staff was very professional and accomidating. This school has so many rules. All they do is tell ur child what to do, for instance the dress code. Rule 11, "Students hair styles and color should be appropriate. hair cuts and length should follow normal hair styles and not draw attention to the student or disrupt the class. Any hair style, hair cut, or hair arrangement that distracts from the educational enviorment is concidered unacceptable. Students may NOT! shave their heads. Boys hair may not extend past the students shirt collar....
