Well I attended Van Deene for my last two years of elementary and it was the best. I had the time of my life and I still remember those days :)
It was great having the opportunity to attend Van Deene and will never change those times!!!

I happen to be the mother of two little girls ages 9 and 6 who attend Van Deene. I'm also a former student (many years ago). I have to tell you this school isn't what it used to be. My concern is that, I have walked on the campus during mid day without one single person seeing me. That really concerns me because if I can do that, so can anyone else. The office door should remain open so that the office personal can see who is walking in and out of that gate. I beleive that safety is not a concern there and it should be.
Also the school doesn't have fairs and things like they used to. I remember that was the highlight for us as kids. This school really doesn't do enough to gets it's students excited and motivated to be proud of their school. I have talked with many, many parents and most feel the same way I do. I'd be happy to talk to anyone about these issues.
