I was a great school for churning out entry level professional 2cnd Engineers Sound Reenforcement and Video crew
They gave a lightning paced but thorough introduction to bench electronics
Studio Audio/Visual equipment balance/maintenance/repair.
They held small workshops teaching tracking and mixing pre/post Audio and visual recording. It was a good start. If you see SM on a resume - read on.

I am a former student of the original Sound Master owned by the late Brian Ingoldsby (I started attending classes before his North Hollywood studio was built. I was one of the first students to attend classes in that building on Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood. I am now attending similar classes at Musician's Institute in Hollywood. I am interested in continuing my education in the recording industry as well as meeting like minded people.
Additionally, I would like to know the whereabouts of his wife, Barbara, if she still survives.
If anybody knows of other alumni, or any other way I can contact such, and can get me in contact with them I would be appreciative. I understand that since the Ingoldsby's no longer are connected to the Sound Master name there is no likelihood that I will have any success with this endeavor.
I would also like to receive information on possible continuing education programs in the recording/mixing industry, if any. I would like to talk to a Pro Tools expert if possible. Thanks-David Seal
