I have only been at this school a few days and I find it to be a joke. We spend about 2 hours of our 4 hours just talking about whatever....nothing to do with learning anything about medical or dental. I drive every morning for 30 minutes to get to this school and I am disappointed that I spend half of my time not learning anything the other half trying to figure out how to do what we are supposed to be doing because the instructor does not instruct she just says...go practice taking eachothers blood pressure, with little to no directions on how you are supposed to do this. I go home at night and get online and teach my self and just use the school as a guide on what I need to know. We do 6 vocab words a day, and test the next day on them and thats about as challenging as it gets. For the money you pay to go there, I really dont think it is worth it. Im thinking about dropping out and going somewhere I will get my moneys worth. I dont see how this place has not been sued, and still remains in business after all of these years. It is ran down, needs to be upgraded, the teachers desk has scotch tape holding it together. When I am there, I feel like Im living in the early 90's. For all the money they make off the students you would think they would have something to give you to practice with instead of just sitting around talking about the news and weather all day...what a waste. Dont waste your time or money here, you may get a job, but you wont know how to do it after you graduate from here which is the point of spending all the time and money. Choose a better school, like SJVC or IT.
