this school used to be really good. now it seems bad. my kid complains that the cafeteria runs out of food and they tell her she cant have the main selection but has to take a second choice tht tastes bad. i dont like the principal. I told her about this and i dont think she did anything about it. the problem is still there.
I would have to say at first, I wanted my daughter to go to Sutter or Washington Open but after her Kindergarten year here at Scott Lane, I realized that Scott Lane is just as good as those others schools all that we need here is more parent involvement. Which is getting better each year. This is a wonderful school to bring your children too. The teachers are wonderful and inspire our children everyday they go to school.
Fred C. nelles school has been closed for many years.

hi there. I went to chapman elementary school from 2nd grade to 6th grade. What im wondering is who was the teacher who taught spanish classes from 1964-1966, every friday. I was just thinking what was her name. I love spanish and im sure that was my start in learning the language and liking it so much. Please help me if you can..I really think her name was Mrs. Alexander.
The Washington elementary playground is huge but has only a couple of swings and slides for the children. There should be more activities happening in the center of the playground not by the gates because it may be dangerous to be near since there is a lack of supervision. I think that the head of office should actually do something about this and make changes to the school. Also i have seen the walls and restrooms in the school and they are horrid. The paint of the restroom walls are falling...
