We were at your High School football field for a junior high game tonight, and I must say that your sports announcer is the most classless, unprofessional person I have ever heard at a school game. I am extremely disappointed in his behavior. Right over the loudspeakers, he says "Bauxite's starting quarterback is still in the game with the score at 33-14 and that just ticks me off. If they were giving out a Sportsmanship award, we know who would not get it". The announcer is there to call the game, and not speak his stupid, personal opinions over the loudspeakers for all to hear. What a jerk! It's unfortunate that your school has that type of individual announcing your games. I don't know if anything can be done, but I will be reporting this to AAA officials. Your kids did play with a lot of heart, and I feel sorry for them that they have to put up with such an immature sore loser as an announcer.

I must say I did enjoy the years I spent at NPHS. I spent two years as a member of Student Council, and played football (okay, I actually stood on the sidelines, coach didn't like me). I also participated in a few plays, and in my final year assisted with yearbook. I enjoyed most of my teachers. How could I not, I'm a knowledge junkie. I had some fun there and was grateful to graduate.
