This school is in horrible condition. It is old and in need of repair, but receives no funds for this and if so, they aren't being used appropriately. Doors are falling off the hinges in the restrooms, there is a bug problem in classrooms, leaky celings, mold and overall it is simple unkept. The security staff is not good and if they do not like a child, they make it difficult for them through gossip and unfair treatment. The staff is not quick to respond to assistance requests. Some, not all, of the teachers act as though they do not care about the children. The children have no true guidance. They do not focus on the importance of education and preparation for their future.

Jacksonville High School has been neglected by PCSSD and is in diar need of repair. The classrooms are too small and the walls and ceilings have leaked for so long there is mold and mildew everywhere. It's amazing that the students and staff don't get ill. It would be nice to see some of that surplus maintainance money the Governor handed out. It's hard for the students to be proud of an old delapidated and run down facility, rooms too small to be comfortable and too many problems with security to be safe
