I believe that OGHS is the reason a lot
of good people are in our community,
the woman who wants the school closed and built in her
neighberhood, must to have no went to Oak Grove, because
if you went to Oak Grove you where like family, and closing
the High School is like closing our home.
Oak Grove School is a part of my life I can't ever forget.
Today I was informed that a student in the 2nd grade called my daughter a bitch!, and nothing was done about it!??? I'm like what's going on and why aren't these kids being punished for bulling it is a shame that nothing is being done about this matter and I plan to look further into this matter.
I THINK EACH YEAR THERE ARE MORE AND MORE STUDENTS THAT ATTEND AND SHORTENING LUNCH HOURS AND TIMES BETWEEN CLASSES IS A PROBLEM SINCE SOME STUDENTS NEED BATHROOM BREAKS ESPECIALLY GIRLS AT CERTAIN TIMES OF THE MONTH OR THE STUDENTS NEED SOMETHING FROM THEIR LOCKER WHICH MAKES THEM TARDY FOR SOME CLASSES. MY DAUGHTER IS A GOOD STUDENT AND IS TARDY TO ONE CLASS A LOT BECAUSE OF THE SHORTENED TIMES BETWEEN CLASSES. IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE AT LUNCH YOU MIGHT HAVE A MINUTE OR TWO TO EAT AND...
In September 2007 was my 1st opportunity to expierence Westside Elementary. We have two children there. I found Ms. Denise in the office very helpful as well as Mrs. Chapman, teacher and Mrs. Pam Gray, assistant teacher to be very good with the children and quick to help if need be. I was very impressed with the safety of the children and the care as the teachers help each child to their correct vehicles. very friendly. thanks to each one at Westside elementary doing a good job.
I loved attending Marion Elementary!! The only complaint I have for back then was, I wished we had better playground equipment. The teachers were great and they really cared!!!
