Okie dokie.
I Just graduated from this school.
I have been there since 2nd grade.
Mr. Rod, the pricipal is awesoome!
He is always there to listen.
Fights are very rare granted every school has fights.
Thats not the teachers fault.
They are always on top to stop it.
So idc what anyone says about it.
The teachers do what they are assigned to do by district.

My kids attended this school for the last 3 years and it has been a down hill ride from the start. The principle, Mr. Rodriguez is a glorified paper pusher who takes no resposibility for what goes on in his school - he does not want to be bothered and will go out of his way to avoid parents. Student safety is almost non existant - I advise any parent who is thinking of enrolling their kids in this school to watch the playground areas before school, at recess and after school. They have maybe
2 teachers on duty to supervise and they are usually found chit chatting, not watching the kids. You have 7/8 grade kids running
around with 1,2,3 and so on. It is complete chaos. I have never seen so many fights - physical - between students and the teachers have no clue. I broke up a fight between 2 3rd grade boys one morning and the teachers were nowhere to be found. As for education - this school has some of the lowest numbers in the district- check it out for yourself. My son is a special ed student and his general ed teacher, instead of working with him would have him answer the phone and do little chores for him. Getting them to follow his IEP was like pulling teath. My son was to have an aide help read his AIMS test questions, but the teacher decided to let my 10 yr old decide by putting him on the spot in front of other students. Needless to say, my son declined, but when he came home he was upset because he had trouble reading and he was concerned he failed. Who lets a 10 yr old make decisions on his education??? When the IEP clearlt states he is to have an aide. Complete laziness and lack of accountability on this schools part. I have removed my kids from this school and it has been a relief for all of us. My advice to any parent is to show up and talk to the parents picking up their children- talk to as many as you can- most of them will tell you to find another school. This is not where you want your kids if you want them to get a good education, in a safe enviorment with teachers and staff who care about them and not their own agenda.
