I went to NAU from 2004-2007. It was a very nice experience for me. I loved the beautiful location and the weather (four seasons). In the winter it gets some pretty nice snow storms, but it's gorgeous. The summers are nice and much cooler than in Phoenix. I loved running in the trails and enjoying all the outdoor activities the area offers. Academically, it is a solid school with a very good education program. Sports are not very popular, but the NAU teams are very competitive in the Big Sky conference and not bad at all. I wish more students would get out and support their sports teams. I miss NAU and the area in general. I would recommend this school to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to live and study in a beautiful, peaceful environment.
