I graduated from UTI and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have a huge passion for working on cars and everything I learned at UTI pertained to the automobile industry. It's not like a Community College that offers a fraction of the training with classes such as History and English that are irelevant. The only complaint I have is some of the losers that didn't take their education serious and they expect that just because they paid the tuition they will not have to work hard to be successful. I'm glad I spent my $30,000 on an education at UTI and not $70,000 at UC Davis like my parents wanted me to. I'm also glad that all of my hard work paid off and I make 50,000 a year at a Nissan Dealership with only 2 years out of school.

This school would be better off without a support department than the one they currently have in place. They make promises they have no intention of keeping, refuse to return phone calls and change policies on a whim. If you still intend on attending UTI/MMI BE SURE TO GET EVERYTHING PROMISED IN WRITING! (not that it will do you any good, unless you decide to sue them for breech of contract as others have). Do yourself a favor spend the 40 grand it is going to take you to get through a year of their nonsense and invest it the stock market...but avoid buying UTI stock it is falling like a rock.

(Universal Technical Institute) The education is decent...Graduate employment assistance is awful...they promise lots and deliver very little.
The school is very expensive...most students take on lots of dept and it takes years to pay the school loans off.
My suggestion is to check out community colleges many offer similar programs at a fraction of the cost. and some even have MSAT type of programs like UTI does.
My final opinion : UTI is not worth the high price tag
