We started with Conenctions Academy for the 2009-2010 school year. My daughter had been in a regular public school from Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I have been at Granada East since 4th grade, I would say its not the best school but its not the worst either. Some teachers are cool but some are really mean. Granada East doesnt let you express yourself by how you dress, hair color, etc. I personally dont like it. I just didnt have another choice.
This is a great school even thought the classes are overcrowded with 32+ kids in a room and only 1 teacher for that many kids. The teachers do care about the students and most of the students seem to care about their learning. It is unfortunate though that most parents/families at this school DO NOT seem to care enough about this school or the education their child is getting to volunteer either at school or assist in some way. Parent meetings such as PTO or Title 1 nights have either very...
