This review is for Mr. Joel Mason, band director at Mt. Gap Middle School. For those parents searching for a school that has an outstanding music program this is it! No other school in this county can say that they have approximately 50% of the student body of that school in band...this award goes to Mr. Mason. I know this for fact because I service many of the music programs in Madison County. While there are certainly many great band diretors out there Mr. Mason takes the cake. I have watched his interaction with the children and his excitment for subject matter and can only say that this man is a "10" in his field. Congrats Mr. Mason on a first class band.
