Good Hope High School is a generally pleasant school, with not too high of a student population and a deep history. The good faculty and relatively neutral environment make for a satisfactory educational experience. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham, many Parents move to Cullman county to avoid living in the cities. Good Hope being a smaller town, some of these parents move there looking for (and getting) the small town feel and the good educational experience for their children.
