As a parent of two students that attend Holt i wold like to say thanks to the staff and keep up the good work!!!
My son is a sophomore at Jess Lanier and he was instructed by one of his teachers to leave his bookbag (the required clear or mesh book bag) outside in the hall of the class room along with the other students in the class. As a result, his book bag was stolen and the items left outside in the hall. Now, my concerns are that the books may have been stolen as well and I would be responsible for payment of those books. I feel that Virginia College was not up in the times as it should have been the computers were all 2003's and just feel cheated that I spent almost $20,000.00 and can't operate some of the micosoft programs that I need to be the sharpest at.
I feel I should be able to get a free quarter of intermediate word2008 or 9 witch ever the computers are updated to at present.
I would not let any child of mine or anyone elses attend Crestline Elemtary. In 1977 I was in first grade. Our teacher, unable to control a classroom, resorted to using a rope to physically tie myself and another student in our desks. After complaints to the then principal, Mr. Greenhill, nothing was ever done to address this issue or other issues involving this teacher.
