My child spent kindergarten at Westbrook Elementary. The classroom was chaotic and unstructured. The teacher did not have control of the class. There were so many students with so many different needs, ranging from Autism spectrum disorder to health issues to being unprepared to be in school, that the teacher could not focus on teaching and preparing those students who were prepared and ready to learn. I went to NAU from 2004-2007. It was a very nice experience for me. I loved the beautiful location and the weather (four seasons). In the winter it gets some pretty nice snow storms, but it's gorgeous. The summers are nice and much cooler than in Phoenix. I loved running in the trails and enjoying all the outdoor activities the area offers. Academically, it is a solid school with a very good education program. Sports are not very popular, but the NAU teams are very competitive in the Big Sky...
