The collection this archive has is "approximately 5,000 cubic feet" and includes documents, blueprints, photos, and models. Over 45 pages of info are online with 135 photographs. Sikorsky worked on fixed wing and multi-engined aircraft, transoceanic flying boats, and helicopters.

TRB(associated with the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering) stimulates transportation research, disseminates the results, and encourages application of findings. This site offers organizational information, research news and opportunities, transportation and research links, and a search engine.

The Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Program and its projects (like biofuels, new generation of vehicles, lightweight materials, alternative fuels) are here summarized.

TheTrip.com provides air and ground transportation information, hotel and city guides, and real-time fight tracking. Tracking allows you to plug in flight numbers or city and time information and access federal flow-control data. (Don't expect "ETA 7:12," but "flight airborne and 350 miles from Chicago.") You can also make reservations and have tickets delivered to your door.
