exploration." They've done a good job with this large site,
offering news, activities, quizzes, solar facts and folklore
(fascinating!), tons of science and space links, solar art, and much

to learn about how technology impacts our lives. The interactive
exhibits are a delight. |
| The Tornado Project gathers and makes available tornado
information in the form of books, posters, and videos. Onsite, they have
included tornado myths and oddities, personal experiences, chasing and
safety, historical data, and more. Interesting stuff! |
| A searchable online database and a huge store of publicly available
information about wetlands, wastewater, etc., from the EPA. Maps are
also available as part of this useful resource. |
| This site allows students to take a virtual tour of the Galapagos
islands, and discusses the history, scientific importance, and issues
facing the islands. Aimed at students K-12, but a great resource for
all. |

| The Civil Engineer Website with more than 20,000 visitors per month is a center for integrating information in civil engineering. The site classifies existing resources and develops new resources to improve and integrate the civil engineering practice, research and education. |
